Qualification summary

This qualification has been developed for the widest range of learners possible: young people and adults who are finding it difficult to enter the work place. This qualification is made up of 100% non vocational units.

This qualification provides you with the opportunity to learn, develop and practice the “soft skills” required by today’s employers and enhance your ability to progress into employment.

These include:

  • how to communicate
  • personal effectiveness
  • behaviour and attitude

If you are already in the work place and wish to confirm your knowledge and skills in your job role, then you could choose the Level 1 Certificate in Skills For Employment (RQF).

This qualification does not require you to have any prior qualifications or levels of previous learning. There is no minimum age requirement for this qualification.

This qualification is ideally suited to learners who are undertaking the work placement element of a Traineeship. For more information please click here.
