Qualification summary

This qualification has been designed for a wide range of learners working in the health sector, particularly for those undertaking the Clinical Healthcare Support Services advanced Level Apprenticeships. The qualification covers the Employment Responsibilities and Rights, (ERR) and Personal, Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) requirements of this framework and forms part of the advanced Apprenticeship Frameworks for Clinical Healthcare.

 

The qualification demonstrate learners' knowledge and understanding of the reasons why employers and employees should know about and understand their responsibilities and rights within the workplace. It also covers the learning skills that learner need for a successful career in clinical healthcare including teamwork and problem solving.

 

Learners completing this qualification will typically work as Healthcare Support Workers/ Nursing Assistants.

 

On completion of this qualification, you may progress onto Skillsfirst vocationally-based qualifications, such as the:

 

• Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF)
