The Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (England) (RQF) qualification assesses the development of knowledge and skills relating to the health and social care sector. This qualification is made up of 100% vocational units.
This Skillsfirst qualification acts as a progression route from the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (England) qualification to the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England) qualification. It will support you in the development of a number of job roles in the adult social care sector.
This qualification can also be used by anyone in a supervisory position as part of their CPD. It achieves this by confirming supervisory competency in many areas such as;

If you feel your role is not in a managerial capacity you could choose the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (RQF)
It is anticipated that learners will progress to Level 5 qualifications for management or senior practitioner roles in Health & Social Care, or to specialist qualifications reflecting the context in which they work.
This qualification does not require you to have any prior qualifications or levels of previous learning. There is no minimum age requirement for this qualification.

To achieve this qualification learners must achieve 70 credits
Learners must achieve all 36 credits from Group M
A minimum of 6 credits from Group A and at least 28 credits from Group B.
The TQT for this qualification is 700 hours
