Qualification summary

This qualification focuses on the personal skills, qualities and attitudes required by employers across all vocational sectors. It has been developed to meet the needs of those who wish to seek, gain and retain employment or progress to further learning. It covers skills such as:

• supporting others
• assertiveness
• managing social relationships

which are vital in today’s competitive labour market. This qualification will give you the confidence to be able to manage your day to day needs as well as the confidence to apply for a job. This qualification is made up of 100% non vocational units.

There are a wide range of units to choose from that meet your personal development needs. These include:

• Improving own confidence
• Supporting others
• Interpersonal skills
• Personal development skills
• Developing and practising personal skills for leadership
• Developing group and teamwork communication skills

This qualification does not require you to have any prior qualifications or levels of previous learning. There is no minimum age requirement for this qualification.
