CFD3 – VTCT(Skillsfirst) Level 3 Diploma in Computerised Finance for Business (RQF)
VTCT (Skillsfirst) and Sage UK have worked in partnership to develop a suite of computerised accounting and payroll qualifications.
This level 3 qualification deals with more advanced knowledge and skills relating to the theory and use of computerised accounting and payroll software, VAT, standard and advanced budgeting, accounting concepts and the professional values, basic business legislation and responsibilities of a finance professional. Upon registration every learner can access a study pack which includes:
- Access to comprehensive, interactive online learning support materials
- A FREE copy of the latest Sage 50 Accounts Professional and Payroll software (for six months)
- Access to expert support
- Related simulations to practice as you need them
- Valuable skills to control your business
- Hard copy learner workbooks if required (at an additional cost through Sage)
The primary target group for this qualification would be full-time Financial Technicians and Managers who wanted a combined accounting and payroll qualification. Others it would appeal to would be self-employed business owners, Prison Governors to use as part of their ‘re-settlement initiative’ and graduates or people looking for CPD utilising advanced learner loans (ALLs).
If you feel that the content of this qualification is too advanced for your current role then you could look at our Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Accounting for Business (RQF), or our Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Payroll for Business (RQF).
This qualification does not require you to have any prior qualifications or levels of prior learning but a working knowledge of accounting and/or payroll processes is advisable. There is no minimum age requirement for this qualification.
On completion of this qualification you could enhance your CPD further by completing any of the following:
- Level 3 Diploma in Management (RQF)
- Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (RQF)
